1. What is a Standard Listing?

A Standard Listing includes your name, city, state, home church, experience level, and email address. We also give you the option of adding your position on key doctrinal issues. This helps match you with churches looking for speakers with similar beliefs. Your phone number is optional but can be added.


2. What is a Featured Listing?

A Featured Listing can include your website, photo, one reference or testimonial, your biography, and topics plus any other approved content. A Featured Listing costs $19 for the year 2008. Your picture will also be featured on the
home page at some time during the year. When you register as a speaker, check the Featured Listing box. As soon as you register, you will be taken to a page where you can pay for your featured listing. This can be paid through Paypal by checking account or any major credit card. Once you have paid the fee, you may send your picture and any additional information you would like to add to katielhoffman@yahoo.com to be placed with your listing.


3. What is “Add a Product”?

When you register as a speaker, you have the option of adding a product to your listing. This may be a book, CD, or other product that you have the rights to sell. The cost to add a product to your listing is $99 for the entire 2008 calendar year. The product can be linked to your website or to a place where the product can be purchased. One picture plus a product description is included in the price.


4. How do I change my listing information?

To change any detail on your listing information, fill out the required boxes in the speaker form again and note the changes in the “Additional Comments” box. Be sure to type in “LISTING CHANGES” in the “Additional Comments” box.


5. I just registered my listing and I don’t see it online.

Listings are manually added and may take anywhere from one hour to 14 days to be added. If your listing is not added after 14 days, please send an email to katielhoffman@yahoo.com with your listing information.


6. I have an upcoming event or conference open to the public and I would like to advertise the event on your website.

Upcoming events are treated like regular advertising. This is because of the time involved to manually add the event information to our website. If you would like to advertise anything on our website, please see the next question.


7. I would like to advertise a ministry or product on your website.

You have two options. A product may be advertised with your listing for $99 by checking the “Add a Product” box at checkout. You may also advertise on our website with a banner ad. These run from $150-$250 a month. For more information, please contact katielhoffman@yahoo.com.


8. Why don’t you allow female pastors or female speakers to register on your website?

This website is designed for churches looking for men to fill the pulpit during times when the regular pastor is unavailable. We believe that the command given in 1 Timothy 2:12 is literal and applies to this day and age. The verse says, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.” If you are a woman, please see our “

9. Can you guarantee I will get speaking engagements?

No, we have no control over which speakers get contacted more often than others. The more exposure you have, the more likely you are to get speaking requests. A featured listing will put your picture on our homepage for a section of time, which will expose you to a greater audience.

11. Do you represent speakers individually?

No, Pulpit Fill does not claim any liability for any one who registers or uses this site. We are a “self serve” speaking agency. We allow churches and ministries to find speakers without charging any booking fees. Our mission is to provide excellent speakers to fill needs in the body of Christ. However, we cannot guarantee the salvation, speaking ability, doctrine, or anything else of the speakers who are part of this website. By using www.pulpitfill.org you agree to release this website from any problems, mistakes, misrepresentations, or any other grievance you may have. It is the responsibility of each speaker to be honest when they join this website.
